Creative adult summer week (morning or evening sessions) – Abstract painting / 21st June – 25th June

Despite this challenging year or exactly because of it, allow yourself a time out to be playful, messy and creative and discover your inner creator through new processes and playful inspirations. Enjoy a creative week of morning or evening classes from Monday to Friday in order to really immerse yourself in a new subject and develop your creative skills in a flow. Join me for a week full of artistic inspiration and experience my explorative and mindful approach to art making. Discover new ways of self expression, free from limiting self beliefs and preconditioning!

Previous students have joined me in the morning classes by taking off half days and described it as a total freeing new experience on how to find a better work life balance, that had a lasting positive effect. Maybe an option to think about, to give yourself a creative boost this summer?

In this explorative art class from Monday – Friday the participants are introduced to creative play and discover new methods to create freely in different art materials – I am guiding you through a mindful creation process, that is fun and relaxing at the same time. The explorative way in which we will use the materials is great for beginners and experienced artists a like. The participants will be encouraged to trust themselves and their painting process and will learn to creatively react to challenges that might appear on their paths. Due to the small number of participants each student will be encouraged at a personal level.

The workshops take place at my atelier in Belair during the week 21st – 25th June either from 10.00 – 12.00 or from 19.00 – 21.00  The course fee for the set of 5 classes is 360€ and includes all materials. The course fee is payable on subscription.

Due to the measures around the Corona virus the class sizes are reduced to a max. of 6 participants. In order to keep us all safe, you are greeted with disinfectant gel at the door and masks need to be worn the whole time even though the participants are seated with a distance of 2m between each other.
Should there be a difficulty to continue the classes at the studio due to the pandemic, the classes will continue as life streaming sessions and I hope you do understand that refunds will not be available.

I am looking forward to an exciting week with you! Book here.

Creative teenage summer week (afternoon sessions)- Art Lab / 28th June – 2nd July

In this fun and experimental art workshop for older children (12+) and teenagers we will discover a whole new level of creative play, explore a variation of artistic techniques and create new sculptures out of recycling materials.

During a whole week we will have the possibility to discuss different approaches to creative works – we will be drawing, planning and painting but the essential work during this week will be to use recycled materials to create sculptures, exploring shapes and forms, creating new meaning and context and bringing very individual art objects to life!

The Class is taking place in English at my studio in Belair27, rue Jean Bertholet from Monday 28th June to Friday 2nd July every afternoon from 17.00 – 19.00. Due to the measures around the Corona virus the class sizes are reduced to a max. of 6 participants. In order to keep us all safe, everyone is greeted with disinfectant gel at the door and masks need to be worn the whole time even though the participants are seated with a distance of 2m between each other.

During this workshop the students are encouraged to experiment with different materials and express themselves on paper and three dimensionally. The great advantage of this week long workshop is that bigger art projects can be worked on in a continuous flow and the students will be encouraged & working at their individual pace. All sessions end with a group reflection phase in which the students will also learn to express themselves verbally about their creative processes and creations.

The course fee is 360 Euros for the set of 5 art classes and includes all materials. The fee is payable on subscription and I hope you do understand that refunds will not be available. Should there be a difficulty to continue the classes at the studio due to the pandemic, the classes will continue as life streaming sessions. The participants should wear clothes that can get dirty or should bring an apron that protects their clothing.
I am excited about this new program and look forward to an inspirational week! Book here.

Bring more creativity into your life, by learning how to draw freely and without pressure. Drawing is a fabulous way to tune in, sharpen your perception and open your eyes to the world around you. We will be exploring varied drawing materials and their use for different subjects. All exercises are chosen in such a way that the class is really targeted at all art enthusiasts from beginner to advanced. The small number of participants encourages individual and group feedback.

“From inspirational spark to fearless mark” – mixed media workshop at the atelier and as live online workshop February 2021

In this explorative art class over 5 weeks the participants are introduced to creative play and discover methods to create freely in different art materials – I am guiding you through a mindful creation process, that is fun and relaxing at the same time and provides you with surprising outcomes. You will learn how attitudes and believes influence our creations and that self limiting and blocking ideas can be overcome with creative play and fun mindful creation processes that will let you be surprised by the outcome every time.
We will be working with crayons, ink and acrylics on paper and examine the expressive power of line, tone, texture, touch, movement and space, black and white paint and any other mixed media materials you might like to introduce.

In each session we will explore a different kind of stimulus and spark with these materials, bringing alive the visual, the sensual, the imagined and felt. Searching for a free artistic expression of the experienced.
The explorative way in which we will use the materials is great for beginners and experienced artists a like, as a new use of the materials can unblock those who have been stuck in rut for a while. The participants will be encouraged to trust themselves and their painting process and will learn to creatively react to challenges that might appear on their paths.

The art classes on Wednesday evening (from 7-9 pm (MEZ)) will be dedicated live online classes for those of you would like to participate in the comfort of your own home. We will start Wednesday 24th February and the workshops go through to the 24th March. As materials you just need different pencil strength from hard to soft (H2, HB, B4 or B6), colourful pencils or oil crayons, watercolours or acrylics, brushes, black ink, scissor and glue stick and papers of any kind. Effectively you can also use any stationary materials you have as black markers or felt pens for example, as the beauty of creativity is, that it blossoms when our options are restricted.

The classes on Thursday morning take place at my atelier in Belair from 10 – 12 pm. We will start Thursday 25th February and the classes go through to Thursday 25th March.

I am looking forward to an exciting new workshop!

Symbols & signs – a mixed media workshop / starting February

In this mixed media (painting, drawing, collaging, printing …) workshop we will use symbols and signs as starting point for our creative discovery. Discover your inner creator through new processes and playful inspirations. Join me in this explorative and mindful approach to art making and discover new ways of self expression, free from limiting self beliefs and preconditioning.
