Finding your flow – Abstract painting class – January 2021

Despite the challenging times or exactly because of them, allow yourself a time out to be playful, messy and creative and discover your inner creator through new processes and playful inspirations. Join me in my explorative and mindful approach to art making and discover new ways of self expression, free from limiting self beliefs and preconditioning.

In this explorative art class over 6 weeks the participants are introduced to creative play and discover new methods to create freely in different art materials – I am guiding you through a mindful creation process, that is fun and relaxing at the same time. The explorative way in which we will use the materials is great for beginners and experienced artists a like. The participants will be encouraged to trust themselves and their painting process and will learn to creatively react to challenges that might appear on their paths. Due to the small number of participants each student will be encouraged at a personal level.

The workshops take place at my atelier in Belair on Monday evenings from 19.00 – 21.00 or on Tuesday mornings from 10.00-12.00. The classes will start on the 4th January/5th January and end on the 8thFebruary/9th February.

The course fee for the set of 6 classes is 380€ and includes all materials. The course fee is payable on subscription.

Due to the measures around the Corona virus the class sizes are reduced to a max. of 6 participants. In order to keep us all safe, you are greeted with disinfectant gel at the door and masks need to be worn the whole time even though the participants are seated with a distance of 2m between each other.
Should there be a difficulty to continue the classes at the studio due to the pandemic, the classes will continue as life streaming sessions and I hope you do understand that refunds will not be available.

To book the class or in case you do have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me and please feel free to share with your friends.

I am looking forward to start into a new creative year with you!

Are you looking for a creative art class for your children in which their imagination is encouraged to blossom, in which they can unwind from the pressure of daily school life and where they  learn from a professional trained art teacher to express themselves visually in colours, shapes and forms? This summer I am able to offer a range of timings and dates for the summer art classes for children aged 6 – 12 years.

In Belair I am offering summer art classes,

  • from the 23rd July – 27th July from 14.00 – 16.00,

  • and from the 27th August – 31st August from 10.00 – 12.00.

UntitledIn the classes the children are encouraged to experiment with different materials and express themselves on paper, carton, canvas or three dimensionally. The great advantage of a week long workshop is that bigger art projects can be worked on in a continuous flow.

The course fee is 160 Euros for the set of 5 art classes and includes all materials and a small snack & drink. The fee is payable on subscription and I hope you do understand that refunds will not be available. The participants should wear clothes that can get dirty or should bring an apron that protects their clothing.

Summer Art Classes for Teenagers & Young Adults – 2018

This summer I am offering again a summer art class for teenagers and young adults that love art and would like to be encouraged to think and work off the beaten track. We will be exploring how to develop ideas and work with a sketch book, brush up on a few basic art skills that help to get on with the realisation of creative projects and we will try to push boundaries that we encounter. We will be discussing the meaning of art and also exploring works of contemporary artists. Learning to express what matters to us and how to transmit that through works of art.

(C) Creation of J. Mollgard 2016

The summer art class will provide a fun, daily 2h atelier environment in which the students are encouraged to work, think and discuss about a given subject, that ideally they also will work on a bit at home in the afternoon. The participants will be encouraged to work with a sketchbook and how to use it for their idea development and will be drawing, painting & building. The idea is to provide the participants with an intensive creative experience that widens their perspective in a safe & pressure free environment, with feedback and encouragement to test and experiment with a choice of artistic materials and techniques. The course will also be an ideal starting point for all students thinking about a possible creative career and that need to prepare a portfolio in the long run.

The class is taking place in Belair daily from the 23rd July to the 27th July from 10.00 – 12.00. The course fee is 200 Euros per week and includes a sketchbook and all further materials. As the places will be limited please do book early in order to avoid disappointment.
